Golf in Bonita

Bonita is an unincorporated community in San Diego County south of the city of San Diego, in the Sweetwater River valley area between Chula Vista and National City. The community occupies flat to gently varied terrain in the lower Sweetwater River corridor, in a residential zone that bridges the main San Diego urban area and the southern communities. San Diego County's communities in this area have grown as residential suburbs of the city, with residents commuting to San Diego and surrounding employment centers. Bonita has a residential character with some commercial development along Bonita Road. Interstate 805 provides freeway access north toward San Diego and south toward National City and Chula Vista. The Sweetwater Regional Park and Reservoir provide nearby recreation.
