Golf in Desert Edge

Desert Edge is a small unincorporated community in Riverside County in the Desert Hot Springs area, north of Palm Springs in the Mojave Desert above the Coachella Valley. The community occupies elevated desert terrain north of Interstate 10 and north of Desert Hot Springs, on the Mission Creek Fan and surrounding desert floor. Riverside County's north Coachella Valley communities, including Desert Hot Springs and Desert Edge, have grown with residential development on the desert terrain above the main valley. The community has very limited commercial services and is primarily residential. Desert Hot Springs is the nearest commercial center. State Route 62 and the Desert Hot Springs road network provide access. The surrounding terrain is typical high Mojave Desert, with sandy flats and sparse desert vegetation.
