Golf in Garnet

Garnet is a small unincorporated community in Riverside County in the Coachella Valley area, in the desert terrain of the county's western valley zone. The community has a very limited commercial presence and is primarily residential in character. Riverside County's unincorporated communities in this area exist between the main incorporated cities of the county. The surrounding terrain consists of desert floor and low mountain terrain typical of this portion of Southern California's desert zone. Interstate 10 serves as the main highway corridor through this area, connecting the Inland Empire to the west with the Coachella Valley to the east. The Coachella Valley's dry, warm climate characterizes the weather throughout the year, with hot summers and mild winters. Local roads provide access to the freeway network and nearest commercial centers.
