Golf in El Dorado Hills

El Dorado Hills is an unincorporated community in El Dorado County, in the Sierra Nevada foothills east of Sacramento along US Highway 50. The community has grown rapidly in recent decades as a planned suburban community with a substantial commercial and residential base. The Town Center at El Dorado Hills provides retail, dining, and services drawing from a wide surrounding area. El Dorado County's western foothill communities have expanded significantly as Sacramento's suburban reach has extended eastward, with Highway 50 serving as the main commuter corridor. The community has a mix of newer planned neighborhoods, older residential areas, and commercial zones along the highway. Folsom, immediately to the west, provides additional commercial services and is connected via Highway 50. El Dorado Hills has one of the faster-growing populations in the greater Sacramento region.
