Golf in El Paso de Robles (Paso Robles)

El Paso de Robles, widely known as Paso Robles, is a city in San Luis Obispo County on the floor of the Salinas River valley in the northern portion of the county. The city is at the center of the Paso Robles wine appellation, one of California's most extensive wine regions. San Luis Obispo County's Paso Robles area produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Syrah, and many other varietals across a wide range of soil types and microclimates in the surrounding hills and valley floor. The downtown plaza anchors a commercial district with restaurants, tasting rooms, and retail businesses. US Highway 101 passes through the city, which has grown as the wine industry has expanded. The Salinas River valley provides flat agricultural land alongside the wine-focused hillsides. The city is roughly 30 miles north of San Luis Obispo.
