Golf in Encinitas

Encinitas is a city in San Diego County on the Pacific coast, south of Carlsbad and north of Del Mar. The city has a coastal residential and commercial character, with a downtown area with a casual beach and flower industry heritage. San Diego County's north coast communities, including Encinitas, Solana Beach, and Del Mar, form a coastal corridor of residential development and small commercial areas. The city was formed from several communities including Leucadia, Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Olivenhain, and old Encinitas. The downtown on Coast Highway 101 has a mix of independent retail and dining. San Elijo Lagoon at the south end of the city provides coastal wetland habitat and recreation. The Coaster commuter rail connects Encinitas to San Diego and Oceanside.
