Golf in Hemet

Hemet is a city in Riverside County in the San Jacinto Valley, southwest of Palm Springs and northeast of Temecula. The city sits at roughly 1,600 feet elevation in the broad valley between the San Jacinto Mountains to the east and the hills toward Temecula to the south. Riverside County's San Jacinto Valley communities, including Hemet and San Jacinto, form a valley urban area that has grown substantially with retirement and residential development. The city has a substantial commercial base along Florida Avenue and State Route 74. The Ramona Pageant, an outdoor drama performed annually in the hills above Hemet, is a long-running local event. State Route 74 and State Route 79 provide the main highway connections.
