Golf in Interlaken

Interlaken is a small unincorporated community in Santa Cruz County in the agricultural zone of the Pajaro Valley, between Watsonville and the coast. The community sits in the inland agricultural area of southern Santa Cruz County, where the Pajaro Valley supports extensive strawberry, vegetable, and apple production. Santa Cruz County's southern portion near Watsonville has a predominantly agricultural character, and Interlaken occupies a quiet area away from the main commercial corridors. The community is primarily residential and agricultural with limited commercial services. The Pajaro Valley's farmland extends around the community, with the coast a few miles to the west and the Santa Cruz Mountains foothills to the north and east. State Route 1 provides coastal highway access nearby, and State Route 152 connects to Gilroy and the Santa Clara Valley to the north via Hecker Pass.
