1 golf course in Lake Almanor Country Club, California.

Lake Almanor Country Club is a residential community in Plumas County at the north end of Lake Almanor, a reservoir in the northern Sierra Nevada. The community is part of the Lake Almanor basin, a broad high-elevation valley at roughly 4,500 feet where the North Fork Feather River was impounded to create the reservoir. The Lake Almanor area is a recreation destination for Northern California residents, with boating, fishing, and camping drawing visitors to the reservoir throughout the warmer months. The country club community is primarily residential, with homes in the conifer forest along the lakeshore. State Route 89 provides the main access route around the lake and connects the basin to Chester and Quincy to the north and to the broader mountain highway network. The Lake Almanor basin occupies a large flat area surrounded by the volcanic terrain of the Cascade foothills and the Sierra Nevada.
