Linda is an unincorporated community in Yuba County in the Sacramento Valley, adjacent to Marysville and part of the greater Marysville-Yuba City urban area. The community occupies flat valley terrain on the north bank of the Feather River, blending into the residential development that extends north and east of Marysville. Linda is one of the more densely populated unincorporated areas in Yuba County and functions as a residential extension of Marysville. Residents typically use Marysville and Yuba City for most shopping, employment, and services. The Feather River corridor through this area is managed through a local levee system. Linda is accessible from State Route 20 and sits within a few miles of the Yuba County municipal airport. The surrounding area transitions between residential neighborhoods and the agricultural land that dominates the broader Sacramento Valley floor in this portion of the county.
