Golf in Olivehurst

Olivehurst is an unincorporated community in Yuba County in the Sacramento Valley, northwest of Marysville along State Route 20. The community is part of the broader Marysville-Yuba City urbanized area and functions primarily as a residential area for workers who commute to Marysville, Yuba City, or Beale Air Force Base to the east. The community has grown in recent decades as population has spread from the existing city cores. Local services and retail are available along the State Route 20 corridor, which connects Olivehurst to Marysville to the east and to the Interstate 5 region to the west. The Feather River flood management infrastructure is relevant to this part of the county given the low-lying position of the community along the valley floor. Surrounding land is predominantly flat and agricultural in character, consistent with the Sacramento Valley floor in this section of Yuba County.
