1 golf course in McCloud, California.

McCloud is a small town in Siskiyou County on the slopes of Mount Shasta, at roughly 3,400 feet elevation. The town sits in a forested canyon above the McCloud River, which drains the south and east flanks of the Mount Shasta volcanic complex. Siskiyou County occupies the far northern corner of California, bordering Oregon to the north. McCloud developed around the lumber industry, and the surrounding forests of mixed conifer remain the defining feature of the landscape. The town is accessible from State Route 89, which connects it to Mount Shasta city to the northwest and to the Lassen Volcanic area to the south. McCloud functions as a quiet community in the shadow of the mountain, with limited commercial services and a primarily residential character. The McCloud River below is a noted fly-fishing resource in the Shasta-Cascade region.
