Golf in Meadow Vista

Meadow Vista is a small unincorporated community in Placer County in the Sierra Nevada foothills, north of Auburn along Interstate 80. The community sits at roughly 2,400 feet elevation in mixed pine and oak forest, in the moderate-elevation foothills between the valley and the higher Sierra. Placer County's foothill communities north of Auburn are less developed than those to the south, giving Meadow Vista a quieter, more rural character. The community is primarily residential with very limited commercial services, with residents relying on Auburn for most needs. Interstate 80 provides the main highway connection through the area, though Meadow Vista is accessed via local frontage roads from the freeway. The surrounding forest terrain gives the community a distinct foothill character compared to the flatter, more suburban communities to the west.
