Golf in Pleasant Hill

Pleasant Hill is a city in Contra Costa County in the Diablo Valley, north of Walnut Creek and south of Concord. The city occupies Diablo Valley terrain in the central county, in the suburban corridor between the East Bay hills to the west and Mount Diablo to the east. Contra Costa County's Diablo Valley cities, including Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek, and Concord, form a continuous urban area in the interior of the county. The city has commercial areas along Contra Costa Boulevard and a BART station at Pleasant Hill station. Diablo Valley College, a large community college within the city limits, is a significant educational and employment presence. Interstate 680 provides highway access connecting Pleasant Hill to the broader Bay Area. The city has a residential and retail character typical of the Diablo Valley suburban corridor.
