Golf in Rosemont

Rosemont is an unincorporated community in Sacramento County, southeast of Sacramento in the suburban east Sacramento area. The community occupies flat terrain on the Sacramento Valley floor, in the residential zone between the city proper and the foothill communities to the east. Sacramento County's eastern suburbs developed as residential areas for Sacramento workers, with commercial corridors along major arterials serving the neighborhoods. Rosemont is primarily residential with commercial activity along Folsom Boulevard and related corridors connecting the community to downtown Sacramento and Rancho Cordova. The American River is a few miles to the north, and the river parkway is accessible via local roads. The community functions as part of the greater Sacramento suburban fabric, with transit connections and highway access to the regional employment centers.
