Golf in Santa Clarita

Santa Clarita is a city in Los Angeles County in the Santa Clarita Valley, north of the San Fernando Valley over the San Gabriel Mountains via the Newhall Pass. The city was incorporated in 1987 from several communities including Valencia, Newhall, Saugus, and Canyon Country. Los Angeles County's Santa Clarita Valley is a major residential growth area that has attracted substantial suburban development in recent decades. The city has a commercial base along the Valencia Town Center corridor and in the Canyon Country and Newhall commercial areas. Six Flags Magic Mountain is in the northern portion of the city and is a major regional amusement park. Interstate 5 and State Route 14 provide freeway access.
