Golf in Valencia

Valencia is a master-planned community in Los Angeles County in the Santa Clarita Valley, north of the San Fernando Valley. The community is part of the city of Santa Clarita and was one of the first large-scale planned communities in California, developed starting in the 1960s on former ranch land. Los Angeles County's Santa Clarita Valley communities, including Valencia, Canyon Country, and Newhall, were incorporated into the city of Santa Clarita. The community has a commercial and entertainment core at the Valencia Town Center, with a mix of retail and residential uses. Six Flags Magic Mountain is at the northern edge of the Valencia community. Interstate 5 and State Route 126 provide the main freeway connections.
