Golf in Tahoe City

Tahoe City is the main commercial center for the north shore of Lake Tahoe, an unincorporated community in Placer County where State Route 89 and State Route 28 intersect. The community sits at the point where the Truckee River exits the lake at roughly 6,200 feet elevation, flowing northward toward Reno. Placer County's Tahoe area includes communities along the north and west shores, with Tahoe City functioning as the central hub for services, dining, and retail for this portion of the lake.
