Golf in Visalia

Visalia is the county seat of Tulare County and the largest city in the San Joaquin Valley between Fresno and Bakersfield. The city sits at roughly 330 feet elevation on the flat valley floor, surrounded by intensively farmed agricultural land. Tulare County's agricultural output—including dairy, citrus, grapes, cotton, and field crops—is among the highest of any county in the United States. Visalia serves as the administrative and commercial hub for the county, with substantial retail, healthcare, and government employment. The city is positioned on State Route 99 and is within a few hours' drive of Los Angeles, Fresno, and the Sierra Nevada parks. Sequoia National Park is accessible to the east via State Route 198. Visalia has grown into a mid-sized city with a compact downtown and a variety of residential neighborhoods spread across the valley floor.
