Golf in Vista

Vista is a city in San Diego County in the north county inland area, east of Oceanside and northeast of Carlsbad. The city occupies inland valley terrain in the coastal mountain foothills of northern San Diego County, at a moderate elevation providing a warmer climate than the immediate coast. San Diego County's north county inland cities, including Vista and San Marcos, have grown as less expensive residential alternatives to the coastal communities. The city has a mix of residential neighborhoods, light industrial and technology business parks, and commercial corridors. The downtown on Main Street has seen arts and dining activity in recent years. State Route 78 provides east-west highway access, connecting Vista to Oceanside on the coast and to Escondido to the east.
