Golf in Cape Royale

Cape Royale is a community on Lake Livingston in San Jacinto County, in the East Texas Piney Woods northeast of Houston. Lake Livingston is one of the large reservoirs in southeast Texas, created on the Trinity River, and the reservoir provides water recreation and serves as part of the Houston water supply system. San Jacinto County is in the pine and hardwood forest country of the Sam Houston National Forest, and Cape Royale is a lake residential community on the western shore. The forested terrain of San Jacinto County has tall pines, hardwoods, and creek bottomlands typical of the East Texas Piney Woods. The community is accessible from Houston via US 59 and the US 190 corridor. One course serves this forested East Texas lake community.
