Golf in Dumas

Dumas is the county seat of Moore County in the Texas Panhandle north of Amarillo, known as the Beef Capital of the World for its large feedlot and livestock industry. Moore County is a major agricultural county in the northern Panhandle, with significant feedlots, wheat production, and natural gas. The community is on the Canadian River drainage area of the northern Panhandle, in the flat High Plains terrain at roughly 3,700 feet elevation. Dumas is also near the natural gas production fields of the northern Panhandle and is accessible on the US 87 corridor north of Amarillo. One course serves the Dumas community in the flat High Plains terrain of Moore County.
