Golf in Floresville

Floresville is the county seat of Wilson County southeast of San Antonio on the San Antonio River, in the agricultural community known as the Peanut Capital of the World. Wilson County produces significant quantities of peanuts, and the annual Peanut Festival celebrates the county's agricultural identity. The San Antonio River corridor provides water in the mesquite and live oak country of Wilson County. Floresville is approximately 30 miles southeast of San Antonio along US 181, in the transition between the San Antonio metropolitan area and the south Texas brush country. Wilson County's economy is based on agriculture, ranching, and the suburban residential growth serving the San Antonio area. One course serves the Floresville community in the river valley terrain of Wilson County.
