Golf in Corpus Christi

Corpus Christi is the county seat of Nueces County on Corpus Christi Bay, the largest city on the Texas Gulf Coast between Houston and the Rio Grande. The city has Naval Air Station Corpus Christi as a significant employer, a major port and refinery complex, and a tourism industry centered on North and South Padre Island and the bays of the Coastal Bend. The USS Lexington aircraft carrier museum is moored in the bay as a popular attraction. The flat coastal plain terrain of Nueces County has subtropical climate, Gulf breezes, and the characteristic bay and estuary landscape of the South Texas coast. Three courses serve the Corpus Christi community in the flat coastal plain terrain, serving both the resident population and the substantial visitor traffic to the Coastal Bend area.
