Golf in Three Rivers

Three Rivers is a small city in Live Oak County in south Texas, where the Frio, Nueces, and Atascosa Rivers converge and give the city its name. The area is in the mesquite and live oak brush country of the south Texas Plains, with the ranching and oil production economy that characterizes this part of the state. Live Oak County is in the transition between the coastal plain and the more inland brush country, and the river convergence is a defining geographic feature of the community. The town is approximately 60 miles southwest of San Antonio on the US 281 corridor. The brush country terrain has mesquite, prickly pear, and live oak on the flat to gently varied landscape of south Texas. One course serves this small river-country community in the brush country terrain of Live Oak County.
