Golf in Lackland AFB

Lackland Air Force Base is within the south San Antonio city limits in Bexar County, the home of Air Force Basic Military Training where every enlisted airman begins their service. The installation trains hundreds of thousands of recruits over the course of a year, making it the primary entry point into the Air Force. Joint Base San Antonio encompasses Lackland, Randolph Air Force Base, and Fort Sam Houston as a combined installation under one command. The south San Antonio location gives the base access to the city's extensive infrastructure and the cultural resources of a major metropolitan area. The flat limestone terrain of south Bexar County and the south San Antonio urban landscape surround the installation. One course on the installation serves the Lackland Air Force community and affiliated personnel.
