Golf in Lago Vista

Lago Vista is a small city on the north shore of Lake Travis in Travis County, in the limestone Hill Country terrain above the Colorado River reservoir. The community has developed as a resort and residential destination in the Lake Travis corridor, with the cliffs and the deep clear reservoir providing the defining landscape. The Lake Travis area has attracted significant second-home and primary residential development as Austin has expanded westward into the Hill Country, and Lago Vista has grown alongside the broader lake community. Travis County's western portion along the Highland Lakes has become one of the most sought-after residential areas in the state. The community is approximately 30 miles northwest of downtown Austin on the FM 1431 corridor. Two courses serve the Lago Vista community in the limestone Hills of north Lake Travis.
