Golf in Tahoka

Tahoka is the county seat of Lynn County on the Llano Estacado south of Lubbock, a cotton farming community on the flat South Plains. Lynn County is dependent on dryland and irrigated cotton farming in the semi-arid terrain at roughly 3,100 feet elevation on the flat Llano Estacado. The county is on the US 380 and US 87 corridors southeast of Lubbock, in the agricultural heartland of the South Plains cotton belt. The flat terrain of the Llano Estacado characterizes the landscape in all directions, with occasional playa lakes in the low areas.
