Golf in Cheyenne

Cheyenne is Wyoming's capital and largest city, a community of about sixty-five thousand that was founded as the transcontinental railroad's western division point in 1867 and grew quickly into the territorial capital. Frontier Days, held each July, is one of the largest outdoor rodeos in the world and the city's defining annual event, drawing visitors from across the country for bull riding, parades, and country music concerts. Warren Air Force Base, one of the nation's oldest active military installations, employs thousands and sustains the city's economy alongside state government. The Wyoming State Capitol building's gold dome anchors the historic downtown.
