Golf in Torrington

Torrington has 1 golf course — 1 public — topped by Cottonwood at Torrington at 6,006 yards.

Torrington is the Goshen County seat on the North Platte River in the Nebraska border country of southeastern Wyoming, the commercial hub for the Goshen Hole agricultural region. The North Platte's irrigation infrastructure has made Goshen County one of Wyoming's most productive agricultural areas, supporting sugar beet, corn, bean, and potato production in an area that would otherwise be dry rangeland. The Homesteaders Museum in Torrington preserves the history of the agricultural settlement that transformed the North Platte valley in the early twentieth century. The town's Nebraska border proximity gives it closer economic ties to the Midwest than to Wyoming's western communities.
