Golf in Bonsall

Bonsall is an unincorporated community in San Diego County in the inland valley north of Oceanside, in the San Luis Rey River valley. The community occupies a broad inland valley at roughly 400 feet elevation, where nurseries, avocado orchards, and some residential development make up the agricultural terrain. San Diego County's inland communities north of the main metropolitan area, including Bonsall and Fallbrook, have a rural agricultural character. The community has limited commercial services and is primarily residential and agricultural, with residents using Fallbrook and Oceanside for most needs. State Route 76 runs through the area, connecting the coast at Oceanside to the inland valley and Interstate 15. The San Luis Rey River provides irrigation water for surrounding agriculture.
