Golf in Temecula

Temecula is a city in Riverside County in the southwestern portion of the county, near the San Diego County line. The city occupies the Temecula Valley at roughly 1,000 feet elevation, where Interstate 15 provides the main highway connection between the Los Angeles Basin and San Diego. Riverside County's southwestern corner, including Temecula and Murrieta, has grown into a substantial suburban area. The Temecula Valley wine country, with numerous wineries and tasting rooms on surrounding hills and valley terrain, is a significant tourism draw. The city has a pedestrian-oriented Old Town on Front Street that serves as a cultural and dining center. Pechanga Resort Casino, a large tribal gaming facility, is south of the city.
