Golf in Brentwood

Brentwood is a city in Contra Costa County in the eastern portion of the county, in the transition zone between the Tri-Valley suburbs and the agricultural Delta. The city occupies flat terrain east of the Diablo Range foothills, where orchards, vineyards, and residential development coexist in a rapidly growing zone. Contra Costa County's eastern cities, including Brentwood and Oakley, have grown substantially as less expensive residential alternatives to the more expensive inner East Bay communities. The city has a growing commercial base and residential fabric that has expanded significantly from the older agricultural town core. State Route 4 connects Brentwood to the Bay Area to the west and to the agricultural Delta communities to the east. Local farm stands selling stone fruit and corn attract visitors in summer.
