Golf in Colusa

Colusa is the county seat of Colusa County, a city on the west bank of the Sacramento River in California's Central Valley, roughly 60 miles north of Sacramento. The Sacramento River provides irrigation water for thousands of acres of farmland in the surrounding area and defines the city's eastern boundary. Colusa County's economy centers on rice cultivation, almonds, walnuts, and cattle, making it one of the more intensively farmed counties in the northern Central Valley. The city maintains a small downtown that serves the surrounding rural population and functions as the administrative center for the county. The Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge Complex includes several units in the vicinity and provides significant wetland habitat across the valley. Colusa is accessible via State Route 20, connecting it to Williams and Interstate 5 to the east and to Clear Lake in Lake County to the west.
