Golf in Kelly Ridge

Kelly Ridge is a small community in Butte County above Lake Oroville in the Sierra Nevada foothills, east of Oroville. The community occupies elevated terrain above the reservoir, in an area where the foothills rise from the valley floor toward higher Sierra elevations to the east. Butte County's foothill communities are in the zone between the Sacramento Valley floor and the middle Sierra elevations. The area provides a residential setting above the reservoir with access to Lake Oroville's recreation resources, while remaining within commuting distance of Oroville and Chico. State Route 162 and local roads provide access from the community to the valley highway network. The surrounding terrain is mixed oak and foothill pine woodland typical of the western Sierra foothills in Butte County. Kelly Ridge is primarily residential with limited local commercial services.
