Golf in Malibu

Malibu is a city in Los Angeles County on the Pacific Coast Highway, stretching approximately 21 miles along the coast northwest of Santa Monica. The city occupies narrow coastal terrain between the Pacific Ocean and the Santa Monica Mountains, with canyon terrain immediately inland. Los Angeles County's coastal communities on the Santa Monica Bay side, including Malibu and Pacific Palisades, are among the most expensive real estate markets in the region. Malibu has a mix of coastal residential properties, Pepperdine University, and some commercial development along the Pacific Coast Highway. The Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is immediately inland. The city has a small year-round residential population supplemented by a significant entertainment industry and celebrity presence.
