Golf in Santa Rosa Valley

Santa Rosa Valley is an unincorporated community in Ventura County northeast of Camarillo, in the hill terrain between the Oxnard Plain and the Simi Valley. The community occupies a narrow valley and surrounding hillsides at a moderate elevation in the Conejo Hills area. Ventura County's unincorporated communities in the hills north of Camarillo include several rural residential areas, and Santa Rosa Valley has maintained a semi-rural character with larger lot residential development. The valley is accessible from Camarillo via Santa Rosa Road, connecting to the Highway 101 corridor below. The surrounding terrain consists of grassland and chaparral on the Conejo Mountain slopes, with residential areas occupying the gentler valley floor. The community has a quiet residential character with limited commercial activity.
