Golf in Thousand Oaks

Thousand Oaks is a city in Ventura County in the Conejo Valley, west of the San Fernando Valley along US Highway 101. The city is one of the most populous in Ventura County and has grown as a residential and commercial destination within commuting distance of Los Angeles. The Conejo Valley, where Thousand Oaks sits, has a cooler, more sheltered climate than the coastal communities to the west. Ventura County's eastern cities, including Thousand Oaks and Moorpark, are connected to the Los Angeles region via Highway 101 and Route 23. The city has a substantial commercial base along the Thousand Oaks Boulevard corridor. The city has a residential character with significant open space in the surrounding Conejo grade and hills, including the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area.
