Golf in San Rafael

San Rafael is the county seat of Marin County, a city on the northern shore of San Francisco Bay east of the central Marin coast. The city occupies a position at the base of the Marin hills, where the bay meets the base of the Coast Range in northern Marin County. Marin County's county seat serves as the main administrative and commercial hub for the county, with the Civic Center complex north of the city. US Highway 101 runs through San Rafael, connecting it to San Francisco to the south via the Golden Gate Bridge and to Sonoma County to the north.
