Golf in Murrieta

Murrieta is a city in Riverside County in the southwestern portion of the county, north of Temecula in the Murrieta Valley. The city has grown from a small rural community into one of the faster-growing cities in California, with extensive residential development in the 1990s and 2000s. Riverside County's southwestern communities, including Murrieta and Temecula, form a growing urban corridor in the southern county increasingly connected to San Diego County to the south. The city has a commercial base along the I-15 corridor and Murrieta Hot Springs Road. California Oaks is a large residential development in the eastern portion of the city. Interstate 15 provides direct highway access south toward Temecula and San Diego, and north toward Lake Elsinore and the Inland Empire.
