Golf in Santa Paula

Santa Paula is a city in Ventura County in the Santa Clara River valley, east of Ventura and west of Fillmore. The city sits at roughly 280 feet elevation on the valley floor, in a zone where citrus groves, avocado orchards, and oil production have been central to the local economy for generations. Ventura County's Santa Clara River valley cities, including Santa Paula and Fillmore, have a traditional agricultural and oil-town character that distinguishes them from the coastal communities. The city has a compact downtown with a mix of older commercial buildings and residential neighborhoods. The Santa Paula Airport in the city is used for general aviation and skydiving operations. US Highway 126 connects Santa Paula to Ventura to the west and to the Ventura-Los Angeles county line to the east.
