Golf in Oxnard

Oxnard is a city in Ventura County on the Pacific coast, the most populous city in the county. The city occupies the flat Oxnard Plain at the mouth of the Santa Clara River, with the Port Hueneme harbor immediately to the south. Ventura County's coast in this area supports agriculture, with strawberries, citrus, and other crops grown on the flat coastal plain north and south of the city. Oxnard has a substantial residential and commercial base and a diverse population, including a large Hispanic community connected to the agricultural economy. Channel Islands Harbor provides recreational boating, and Channel Islands National Park is accessible by ferry from Ventura Harbor nearby. US Highway 101 connects Oxnard to Ventura to the north and to Los Angeles to the south.
