Golf in Saticoy

Saticoy is an unincorporated community in Ventura County along the Santa Clara River, east of Ventura city proper. The community occupies flat river valley terrain at the lower end of the Santa Clara River corridor, where agriculture and residential uses coexist near the county's main coastal city. Ventura County's interior communities along the Santa Clara River, including Saticoy, have an agricultural and residential character tied to the river corridor. Citrus groves and nurseries occupy portions of the surrounding valley floor. The community is connected to Ventura via State Route 33 and local roads along the river corridor. The Santa Clara River runs through the area on its way to the Pacific at Ventura. The community has a modest residential base and functions as part of the greater Ventura area.
