Golf in Willows

Willows is the county seat of Glenn County in the Sacramento Valley, situated in flat agricultural terrain north of Sacramento. The city lies near Interstate 5 and serves as the commercial hub for one of California's most agricultural counties. Glenn County's economy centers on rice farming, orchards, field crops, and cattle operations, supported by water from the Sacramento River and its tributaries. Willows sits at a low elevation on the valley floor, with the Coast Range to the west and the Sierra foothills at a considerable distance to the east. The city provides services for a largely rural population spread across flat terrain with few other commercial centers in the county. Glenn County is bordered by Colusa County to the south and Tehama County to the north, extending from the Sacramento River westward into the lower slopes of the Coast Range. Sacramento is roughly 90 miles to the south via Interstate 5.
