Golf in Yucca Valley

Yucca Valley is a town in Riverside County on the Mojave Desert high plateau, north of Palm Springs at roughly 3,200 feet elevation. The town is the main commercial center for the Joshua Tree-Twentynine Palms area, serving as the primary retail and service hub for a wide surrounding desert region. Riverside County's high desert communities, including Yucca Valley, Twentynine Palms, and Joshua Tree, are in the Mojave Desert above the main Coachella Valley. State Route 62 passes through the town, connecting it to Interstate 10 to the south and to Twentynine Palms and Joshua Tree National Park to the east. The southern park entrance to Joshua Tree National Park is accessible near the town. The high desert terrain is characterized by Joshua trees and granite boulder formations.
