Golf in Kingsville

Kingsville is the county seat of Kleberg County in the Coastal Bend of south Texas, home to Texas A&M University-Kingsville and the King Ranch Museum. The King Ranch, the largest ranch in Texas at over 800,000 acres, surrounds the city and shaped the community's identity—the Santa Gertrudis cattle breed and the quarter horse were developed on the ranch. Kleberg County is in the mesquite brush country of the south Texas coastal plain south of the Nueces River. Texas A&M-Kingsville provides engineering and agricultural education that serves the region's industries. One course serves the Kingsville community in the flat south Texas coastal plain terrain.
