Golf in Falfurrias

Falfurrias is the county seat of Brooks County in the deep south Texas brush country, one of the most sparsely populated counties in Texas. Brooks County is in the mesquite and cactus brush country of the Rio Grande Plains, far south of San Antonio and north of the Rio Grande Valley. The community is on the US 281 corridor between San Antonio and the Valley, and is known as the Milk Capital of Texas for the region's dairy industry. Brooks County has a small population primarily of Hispanic descent, and the county seat is the only significant community in the county. The flat, arid brush country terrain of the south Texas plains defines the landscape. One course serves this isolated community.
