Golf in Tierra Grande

Tierra Grande is a community in Nueces County in the Corpus Christi area, home to the Corpus Christi Country Club and the Gabe Lozano Golf Course, two of the area's golf facilities. The flat coastal plain terrain of the Corpus Christi area and the Gulf Coast climate define the setting, with the bay and the Gulf of Mexico nearby. Corpus Christi is the largest city on the Texas Gulf Coast between Houston and Brownsville and serves as the commercial center for the Coastal Bend region. The Naval Air Station Corpus Christi and the Corpus Christi Army Depot are significant employers in the area. The Corpus Christi Bay and the barrier islands of North and South Padre Island provide water recreation and beach access. Two courses serve the Tierra Grande and Corpus Christi area community in the flat coastal plain terrain.
