Golf in Crandall

Crandall is a small city in western Kaufman County southeast of Dallas, in the Blackland Prairie along the US 175 corridor. The community has grown as a distant exurb of Dallas, with residents seeking more space and lower land values while maintaining highway access to the metropolitan area. Kaufman County is in the transition between the Blackland Prairie and the post oak savanna, with heavy clay soils and gently varied terrain. The US 175 corridor southeast of Dallas has seen growing residential development as the outer DFW suburban fringe has expanded. Cedar Creek Lake in Henderson County to the southeast provides regional recreation. One course serves the Crandall area in the agricultural and residential fringe of Kaufman County.
