2 golf courses in New Braunfels, Texas.
New Braunfels is the county seat of Comal County in the Texas Hill Country, one of the fastest-growing cities in the United States over the past decade, driven by the expansion of the San Antonio and Austin metropolitan areas into the I-35 corridor between them. The city is known for Schlitterbahn water park, the Guadalupe and Comal Rivers for tubing and swimming, and the German heritage of the community. The German immigrants who came to Texas in the 1840s under the Adelsverein colonization society created New Braunfels and several other Hill Country communities. The Comal Springs are the largest springs in Texas, emerging from the Edwards Aquifer and feeding the Comal River for a very short distance before joining the Guadalupe. Two courses serve the New Braunfels community in the limestone terrain of the Balcones Escarpment and Hill Country edge.
